Post Upgrade to CE 7.31 Logon Page Throwing "Authentication Failed" Exception.

Hi Expert,

Post upgrade from NW 7.0 to CE 7.31, log on page displaying "Authentication Failed" the moment i pass the portal URL to browser. when i tried to trace the browser request its throwing " 401 Authentication failed"

Any help will greatly appreciated
